Teachers and students of Türkan Sabancı School for the Visually Impaired, who came to Alanya for chess and goalball tournaments, toured the historical places of Alanya before matches with company of Alanya Municipality Accessible Park and Recreation Center staff.

Teachers and students of Türkan Sabancı School for the Visually Impaired, who came to Alanya for chess and goalball tournaments, toured the historical places of Alanya before matches with company of Alanya Municipality Accessible Park and Recreation Center staff. 
Alanya Municipality Accessible Park and Recreation Center curator Esra Yemez and Culture and Health and Welfare Department staff Naci Uzunsakal accompanied 17 students and 5 teachers of Türkan Sabancı School for the Visually Impaired during the tour.  

STUDENTS FEEL THE HISTORY BY TOUCH

The works of Alanya Municipality, which is progressing to be an accessible city, for people with disabilities and their relatives were told to the visitors who came from Türkan Sabancı School for the Visually Impaired. 

During the tour in which Red Tower, dockyard, Alanya Castle, the works conducted to ease the lives of visually impaired people by touch were admired by the visitors. Red Tower and Dockyard models which were built by wood artist Kemal Gültekin were examined by visually impaired students thoroughly since it enabled to let visitors examine every detail by touch. 

At the end of the tour which continued with Alanya Castle and City tours, visually impaired students had great fun before the matches. Students and teachers of Türkan Sabancı School for the Visually Impaired thanked Alanya Municipality both for their hospitality and the works conducted for people with disabilities.
