ACCESIBLE TOURISM PROJECT BECOMES PRODUCTIVE

Hopeful results have started to be taken as a result of the works conducted within the context of Accessible Tourism Protocol. Alanya has been a rising destination in the list of the tourists with disabilities who want to spend their holiday barrier-free.

Two American citizens, who have disabilities, made a research of accessible destinations before they started their cruise and they preferred the ship called Norwegian Jade since Alanya, which was one of the most accessible destinations, was within the destinations of this ship and they visited Alanya.

Betty and Ruth Jaspensen travelled to panorama terrace, castle, Damlataş cave, museum, fish market and other touristic areas in the city on a bus which was allocated by Accessible park and Recreation Center under the guidance of Project coordinator of the Center Münir Altıoğlu and they finally visited Accessible Park and Recreation Center.

Visitors stated that the Project Alanya for All consists of infrastructure Works to ease the lives of people with disabilities and they could see that in their one day trip very easily and they thanked everybody who contributed to those works.
