ACCESSIBLE ALANYA PROTOCOL SIGNED IN POLAND

Turkish Chronicles activities continue in the town of Cieszyn of Poland with the participation of Alanya Municipality under the chairmanship of Alanya District Governorate.

In meetings held today, the protocol of Accessible Alanya project for facilitating the utilization of streets, public agencies, and beaches by people with disabilities has been signed by Alanya District Governor Mr. Hulusi Doğan, Alanya Mayor Mr. Hasan Sipahioğlu, and Mahmutlar Mayor Mr. Ali Çelik with Poland. The committee has also participated in introductory meetings of the resort for people with disabilities intended to be built in Alanya.


After the meetings, the organization has continued with the show of the folklore team from Alanya in the historical theatre of Cieszyn city with the participation of an audience about 600. Immediately after this show, Mr. Hakan Aysev performed a recital.
the Secretary General of the Presidency of Poland and Alanya Mayor Mr. Hasan Sipahioğlu went to the podium after the shows and stated that the organization would lead to positive developments not only for the relations between the two countries, but also for the subsequent organizations.

The promotion stand opened by Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation, the souvenir stand opened by the opened by the exchange students with disabilities from Alanya, Alanya gourd stand, and the other stands opened in the theatre have attracted great interest. Both the Alanya presentation and the small ornaments made by students with disabilities in the stands have met great interest by the participants.

The events of the Turkish Week will continue with folklore shows in various universities, Alanya promotion materials to be distributed to university students, and conference on people with disabilities.
